What the Course Says About Money

Who among us does not have money issues? We want more of it. We are worried about not having enough of it. We are tired of working for it. We spend too much of it. We hoard it. We want to avoid it. We argue about it.

This is often a behind-the-scenes struggle, known only to those who are closest to us, while we pretend things are fine with everyone else.

How can we enter into a healthy relationship with money? A relationship in which we simply own it, and it doesn’t own us?

How, according to A Course in Miracles, should we think about money?

In this workshop, you will learn the answer to commonly-held questions on this important topic such as:

  • What is the Course’s view of money?
  • Does the Holy Spirit supply our material needs?
  • Can money serve a spiritual purpose?
  • How should we charge for our services, and more.

At their worst, money issues can drive us into overwork, destroy peace of mind, and ruin relationships. Our goal with this workshop is to help you use the Course's teachings to make peace with money once and for all.

Think of the freedom in the recognition that you are not bound to all the strange and twisted laws you have set up to save you. You really think that you will starve unless you have stacks of green paper strips and piles of metal discs.

From our origin in 1993, the purpose of the Circle of Atonement has been to be a bridge into the profound and unparalleled wisdom of A Course in Miracles. We clarify the Course’s sometimes difficult language in order to make possible a deeper understanding of its teachings. We then help you put those teachings into practice, explaining how to apply them in your everyday life. Our work grows out of our commitment to be as faithful as possible to what A Course in Miracles says. It also grows out of our years of dedication to walking this path ourselves and our desire to see the Course’s purpose realized in the lives of students and in the world.
