9-Week Intensive for Current or Future Study Group Leaders
Hosted by Robert Perry & Mary Anne Buchowski
Circle of Atonement
September 19th - November 14th
Classes will be held on Saturdays from
2pm - 3:30pm Eastern
For those who love the Complete and Annotated Edition (CE), this is a natural thing to do. Study groups are the primary way that students gather to share in the Course together, and if your relationship with the Course has been transformed by this edition, then you naturally want to be part of or lead a group that studies it. We keep hearing from many of you about wanting to start a group around the CE or to convert an existing one, so we have decided to help you in that process.
From September 19 through November 14, we will be hosting a 9-week training for study group leaders, focusing on taking the students through the Text. This will be taught by Robert Perry and Mary Anne Buchowski, and it will be an updated version of their well-received 2014 training.
In this study group leader training, you will learn the following:
In addition, we will provide you (over the course of next year) with a series of 52 weekly discussion guides for taking your group through the Text. These guides will contain summaries of key themes, a selection of important passages to cover, discussion questions, and common questions and answers. These discussion guides will take a tremendous load off your shoulders and make leading your group much easier. As part of the training, we will show you—through both instruction and demonstration—how to take your group through the Text with these guides.
At the end of the training, you will receive a certificate indicating that you have completed the Study Group Leader Training Level One (Text). In subsequent years, we will offer a Level Two (Workbook) training and a Level 3 (Manual and Supplements) training. In addition, after the completion of the training, there will be an option for ongoing study group leader support. If you have a sense of wanting to share the Course with others through the Complete and Annotated Edition (CE), we hope you will join us for this instructive and practical training experience.
Note: Although it is not mandatory, before registering for this training we highly recommend that you have gone through the CE Text yourself as this will be beneficial to helping other students with the material.

From our origin in 1993, the purpose of the Circle of Atonement has been to be a bridge into the profound and unparalleled wisdom of A Course in Miracles. We clarify the Course’s sometimes difficult language in order to make possible a deeper understanding of its teachings. We then help you put those teachings into practice, explaining how to apply them in your everyday life. Our work grows out of our commitment to be as faithful as possible to what A Course in Miracles says. It also grows out of our years of dedication to walking this path ourselves and our desire to see the Course’s purpose realized in the lives of students and in the world.
